Indication:
Relief of pain and inflammation in rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, acute gouty arthritis, bursitis, and tendonitis. It is also indicated for other painful conditions such as acute musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, dysmenorrhea, and mild to moderate pain.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: For arthritis: 250–500 mg twice daily. For pain and dysmenorrhea: 500 mg initially, then 250 mg every 6–8 hours as required. Maximum dose should not exceed 1250 mg on the first day and 1000 mg on subsequent days.
Children: 10 mg/kg daily in 2 divided doses. Not recommended for children weighing less than 25 kg.
Special populations or regimens: The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms.
Dose and duration should be determined by the registered physician.
