Indication:
Prevention and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency and scurvy. Also indicated in: pregnancy, lactation, infection, fever, common cold, trauma, burns, wound healing, post-surgical recovery, stress, and in infants receiving unfortified formulas.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults:
Prevention: 1 tablet (250 mg) daily
Treatment / other conditions: 1–2 tablets daily, or as directed by the physician
Maximum safe dose: 2000 mg daily in divided doses
Children: Dose should be determined according to age and clinical condition.
Special populations or regimens: Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or hyperoxaluria at high doses. Megadoses (more than 1000 mg daily) during pregnancy should be avoided.
Dose and duration should be determined by the registered physician.
