Indication:
Management of anxiety and tension states including restlessness, anxiety-related insomnia, and psychosomatic disorders affecting cardiovascular, respiratory, and gastrointestinal systems. Also indicated as adjuvant therapy for anxiety in depressed patients and emotional disturbances.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: 1.5–3 mg three times daily for outpatient therapy. In severe cases: 6–12 mg two to three times daily as directed by the physician. Total duration of treatment should generally not exceed 8–12 weeks including a tapering-off period.
Children: Not recommended for paediatric use.
Special populations or regimens: In elderly patients, doses should not exceed half those normally recommended.
Dose and duration should be determined by the registered physician.
