Indication:
Short-term management of insomnia, relief of anxiety, tension and fear, preoperative sedation, and as an anticonvulsant.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: 7.5–15 mg daily. In elderly and debilitated patients, the recommended dose is 7.5 mg. For premedication, 15 mg should be given 30–60 minutes before the procedure.
Children: Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.
Special populations or regimens: In elderly or debilitated patients, treatment should be started with the lowest effective dose and adjusted carefully as directed by the physician.
Dose and duration should be determined by the registered physician.
Preparation / Packaging:
Midazolam 7.5 Tablet: Box containing 30 tablets in blister pack.
Midazolam 15 Tablet: Box containing 10 tablets in blister pack.
