Indication:
Prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency including osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, tetany, hypoparathyroidism, disorders of osteogenesis, and conditions requiring supplementation such as pregnancy, lactation, and postmenopausal osteoporosis. Also used as a phosphate binder in chronic renal failure.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: 1–2 tablets daily, preferably after meals.
Children: Dose should be determined according to age and clinical condition as directed by the physician.
Special populations or regimens: Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or hypercalcaemia. During pregnancy, daily intake should not exceed 1,500 mg calcium and 600 IU Vitamin D3. Adequate fluid intake is recommended.
Dose and duration should be determined by the registered physician.
