Indication:
Treatment of acid-related disorders including gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, NSAID-associated ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding from stress or acid peptic diseases, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection in combination with appropriate antibiotics.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: 20–40 mg once daily depending on the severity of the condition. For H. pylori eradication: 40 mg twice daily in combination with appropriate antibiotics for 7 days as directed by the physician.
Children: Dose should be determined by the physician according to age and body weight.
Special populations or regimens: No dose adjustment is generally required in hepatic impairment. Tablets should be taken approximately 30 minutes before meals. Tablets must not be split, chewed, or crushed. Dose and duration should be determined by the registered physician.
